About
Karen:
I've always enjoyed taking care of children of all ages. In high school, I took child development classes and previously worked in a daycare center as well. I'm CPR certified and First Aid trained. I have been a nanny for 5 years. Families that I have worked for have found me to be reliable, friendly, caring, energetic, positive and compassionate. I prefer taking care of children over any other position. Not everyone can say they love their job, but it's not a job for me, it's what I love to do. It makes my day to make a child smile and laugh. I love to interact/play and stay busy. I enjoy taking kids to activities, library/story time, arts and crafts, reading, going swimming, picnics and just educate them so they learn and grow. I would love to care for your child/ren.
Karen's childcare philosophy:
I feel that time outs can be efficient. I feel that explaining things to children are so important instead of telling them no all of the time. When they become a certain age, they understand what's right from wrong.

Tell us your experience working with newborns and infants. What did you find most
challenging?
What did you find most rewarding?
I feel that potty training is one of the biggest challenges for me. I don't mind it, but it is difficult and something that I know will happen with time.
