Rebecca:
I enjoy & had many opportunities working with young children from infants through teens in various ways with a lot of fun & memorable experiences of over 10 years of experience. I love to interact with children & have transported them to & from their activities, to & from many fun & educational places, & introduced to them many fun & age appropriate activities at their homes & or in a classroom, such as creative movement activities that turned out to be a big hit.
I have a lot to share concerning my many interests & why I love providing child care & my qualifications. Please ask me about more of my interests, for my resume & for extra information. I will send it to you upon request, due to limited character typing for this section.
I am very flexible & can work any hours. I am CPR certified and trained in First Aid.

Rebecca's childcare philosophy:
.I believe in encouraging children to freely express themselves & providing them with variety of age appropriate activities that will promote their development in all areas. I believe in encouraging they by using positive words or acknowledging them for something they did for some examples “Susie, I see you used a purple crayon to make a squiggly line. I see that you are working really hard to make a V. Also I believe it important to acknowledge how a child is feeling too. For a
example, “Julie, I see that you are very happy that you made a straight line with the brown pencil.”
As for Discipline, I believe in in redirection first, giving them other good choices to choose from first, before resulting to time outs based on the length of their age.

Tell us your experience working with newborns and infants. What did you find most
challenging?
What did you find most rewarding?
I have worked with infants in child care centers and in home settings, mostly as an extra helper around.
I enjoy being around infants, holding them and trying to make them smile.
I find it rewarding when they smile, begin to craw, walk and say their first word. As they grow and start exploring around them is very exciting. They start dancing and clapping their hand to the music.
In a childcare center, I find it to be a challenge when many infants are crying at the same time & I am trying to find a solution for each infant all at the same time and lunch time is also approaching especially for the older infants who can eat baby food & or table food can be very hectic along with many infants are due for their diaper change around the same time.
