About
Candace:
Dear Family,
I have been caring for children for over 10 years as a nanny, assistant teacher at several top early learning centers and as a highly sought after babysitter. In addition I am college educated, having majored in English and Early Childhood Education. I have experience with children from birth to middle school age. I have chosen to work with children because caring for them in a safe, loving, nurturing manner is second nature to me. I get personal satisfaction from playing an important role in the cognitive, social, and emotional development of the children in my care. I would be an asset to your family because of my excellent multi-tasking skills and my rapport with children. I have a great deal of life experience that would be beneficial to the child/ren in my care. I am looking to become part of a warm, loving family(long term). I like to travel and do not get homesick.
Thank you for your consideration.
Candace's childcare philosophy:
I am a firm but fair and loving caregiver. I say what I mean and mean what I say which children seem to respond to since they know what to expect from me.

Tell us your experience working with newborns and infants. What did you find most
challenging?
What did you find most rewarding?
My first job(at age 13) was working in an Infant/toddler center. In addition I am the aunt to four children(2 boys,2 girls all preemies) and have and continue to be a part of their upbringing. Most of my childcare has been with toddlers.
