About
Helena:
I am 19 years old and I come from a family of 13 children so I have been babysitting since a young age. I love kids, animals, cooking, and reading out loud. I am fine with doing house chores and running errands among other things. I am a christian, I don't swear, smoke, drink, or use any kind of drugs.
Helena's childcare philosophy:
My childcare style is pretty organized, but in an easy-going kind of way. I don't discipline unless instructed to by the parents, and I make sure to fully understand all of the things the parents don't want the child to do. I also like to get invlolved in the kids life as much as I possibly can so I can make them comfortable with me being around. I am not quick to anger, and am very patient.

What did you find most rewarding?
I was a nanny for a 10-month old for 6 months. He was a very easy baby to care for, and rarely ever cried or was un-happy. The only problem I ever had with him was keeping him out of stuff. I would turn my back for one second to get his sister juice and he'd be off to get into some kind of trouble! The most rewarding thing though was that he absolutely adored me and always had a big smile waiting for me when I walked in the door!
I also nannied for a 3 month old boy for about 3 months. He was also a super easy baby to care for! He was extremely fussy in the evening, but other than that I had no problems. Everything about it was rewarding, and I definitely look forward to nannying for infants in the future!
