I am 19, I have finished a year of college at Western Michigan University and am looking for a job that I love most, nannying. I am hoping to take online classes while nannying but just a few at a time because I will eventually be getting a degree, just not anytime soon. I am looking for a long term 3+ year commitment with a family because I crave commitment, schedule, and structure. I am hoping to be THE person you need to keep your ideal lifestyle in motion.
Marisa's childcare philosophy:
My main focus is working with children, that's why I am working in this field. Because of this, I need a job where I have freedom to add crafts, activities, and small educational lessons to enhance the child's education and memories. I follow all structure already in place by the parents and always put the parent's needs over the child's desires. I am also very good with constructive criticism and like to be told when I am doing things wrong instead of getting an awkward stare. I am always ready to get involved with games with the children instead of watching from afar.

What did you find most rewarding?
I have worked with newborns 2 weeks and older. The most challenging part is the late night attention needed, however, when you wake up the next morning to see that the baby has grown and matured just a bit, it makes everything completely worth it.
