About Vanessa:

Hello and thank you for reading my profile. I am originally from Northern New York and grew up in mostly rural areas. Dairy farms and paper mills are the predominant means of earningt a living. As a child I spent a great deal of time outdoors, on the farm, or in the woods. My family owns a camp with boathouse in the Adirondack Mountains and it's one of my absolute favorite places to be whenever I manage a trip home. My great-grandfather purchased the property in the 1950s and it's been passed from generation to generation. At camp we spend alot of time swimming, fishing, kayaking, jet-skiing and berry picking. It's rustic (no running water or electricity), but we LOVE it. I moved from New York to Maine when I was nine, then to San Diego when I was fourteen. I'm an only child which I believe is the reason I have such a love for children. I tearnings


Vanessa's childcare philosophy:

I have been caring for children for over 15 years. I have managed laundry, meals, misc appointments and other household responsibilities. I enjoy swimming, camping, bike riding, music and reading. I love playing games with children and encouraging them to be creative and to use their imaginations.
