As a male trying to break into this child-friendly environment....it has been uphill. I have a strong Christian background, and have spent time as a Sunday School director, teacher, nursery attendant and more. Raised my own as well as attending to nanny care of my siblings children and numerous baby-sitting jobs over the years. Almost fifteen years in education and another 15 in the business world. My child friendly experiences range from my teenage years all the way to present. I feel that my experiences in raising children, having a child of my own and years in an educational environment, reflect positively on the many qualities I have in helping families care for their children or assist in managing schedules and homes. My schedule is pretty flexible...and I am as dependable and trustworthy and confident that I could fill many roles for a family. My hope is for a one on one opportunity to meet and greet, finding out what your needs are and my abilities to meet those needs.

I graduated from the University of Alabama. I have a degree in English and a degree in Art History. I grew up in Atlanta but have been living in Alabama for the past ten years. I moved back to Atlanta this summer and have been looking for something to do. Before Atlanta in between living in Alabama I spent about 6 months in New Orleans. I began a Masters program in Public Health but really felt like I wanted to do something more clinical so I have decided to pursue nursing school. I am beginning my pre-requisite courses next semester online which means I won''t actually be attending class, I still have all this free time on my hands. Once accepted into nursing school, which I wont know until January of 2011, I hope to do something in pediatrics. I love the way it makes me feel when I can help influence a child in a positive way. And that''s about it for me....
