At a very young age, my mom taught me how to cook, clean and I cared for my other three siblings. I started babysitting at the age of 12. I love to play with and care for children. In college I received a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and I will be attending graduate school in the fall to attain a Masters of Arts in Community Counseling. My career goal is to counsel and work with marriages and families and of course this includes children! I have been working with the youth ministry at my church since I was in high school. After college, I worked in a group home with children ages ranging from 9-18. The children came from neglected and abused families and my job was to act as a parent and support. I cooked their meals, took them to school, helped with homework and anything else that a parent would do for a child. Children are a blessing and it s up to us to make sure they grow and flourish!
