Pittsburgh, PA Nanny Search

I am 25 years old and got married last year, however we do not have any children yet and would like to wait a couple years befores starting a family. I love children and come from a family of six, four boys and two girs so I have had a great deal of experience with babysitting and believe that my large family has contributed to my well-rounded character. I also have several years of babysitting but not in a full-time/permanent manner. I love being around kids, mainly because they are fun, spontaneous, and have way of brightening up their environment. My husband and I look forward to starting a family one day, but need a couple more years to get things situated. I have also applied for a master's program at the University of Pittsburgh so I have quit my job in order to take prerequisites for my application. This is a big commitment but I am confident in the change!

I have a well-rounded background with children, beginning with babysitting my two younger siblings, neighborhood children, and children of my father''s psychology clients. After college, I taught infants and toddlers at the Cyert Center at CMU, where I stayed for 5 years. I began my own family while working there (my daughter is now five, and my son is one). I left the preschool to be a nanny for a family of three children who are now 7, 4, and 2. I have been with them for 2.5 years and I have brought my children with me. I am well-rounded in interests: I pretty much enjoy dabbling in everything, and love to try new things. I am currently in the early childhood education grad school program at Carlow, and love to apply what I am learning!
