I am an educated professional nanny whose specialty is caring for newborns thru preschoolers. Currently I provide temporary care and substitute as a preschool teacher. I am available to work FT, PT, or 24hr care and for a variety of situations: newborn-nanny, substitute/fill-in care, sick child, travel, occasional ‘baby-sitting’, etc. I can also provide household assistance. While I have many years of experience I still find kids so amazing. I love being a nanny because everything is always so new and exciting to the kids, which brings joy and excitement to my life. I love learning about kids and discovering what they need most to flourish. I also love nature (the outdoors, the garden, animals, camping, hiking, learning about nature in general) and exploring whatever area I am in. I have a strong well-rounded ECE background along with criminal clearance, great references and all the other necessities that I’m sure will put your mind at ease.

I am a 38 year old mother of a 7 year old boy and a 17 year old girl. I am a musician of over 28 years, having played both wind instruments (flute and saxaphone), and have played bass guitar for 25 years. I have lived in the Sacramento area for 30 years, but am originally from Chicago. I have a 20 year career working in Executive Administration, however my love for children and the gratification I feel in being part of their positive development has influenced me to change my career focus to supporting a family and their children. I am mature, positive, energetic, intelligent and have a love for animals, reading, writing, performing arts and music.
