Hi! My name is Sara. I am a graduate student in the DC area and am willing to help out a family in a couple months. For the past three summers, I've been a nanny and currently care for a little boy in the DC area (on a part-time basis). I enjoy these activities with children: museums, going out to eat, attending shows/concerts, community events, coffee shops, reading, board games, etc. I hope to hear from your family!

I grew up with an extremely loving upper-middle class family in California and then we moved to the Washington, DC area. I have twin sisters and my mother was a stay at home mom so I have plenty of nurturing skills and a background learned firsthand at home. I can offer your children a highly enthusiastic and creative environment in which to grow and learn while teaching them a strong moral infrastructure. I hold a BA from UNC-Chapel Hill and used to nanny for two very different families the whole time I went to undergrad in North Carolina. I have a car and a clean record and would love to get to know your children and provide them with a strong, positive role model. I also volunteer and mentor children (particularly inner-city youth) on a regular basis.
