    In My Own Words

Every summer in high school my mother's friends would hire me to nanny their children while I was out of school. I took them to different activities during the day, took them out to eat or made them a meal at home, cleaned the house, and made sure to entertain the children while I was watching them. In college, I worked for a non-profit after school program for children in first through fifth grade. I worked there for four years and when I graduated I had to part ways because I moved back to Tulsa. During my time there I became First Aid and CPR certified and also was required to attend 20 hours of classes that taught us how to handle different situations regarding the children.
