Looking for a Full-time Caregiver Job

I am 46 years old, I am married with no children of my own and I have six years of experience as a nanny/ household manager. I had been working in the medical field for a number of years, when I was laid off. This allowed me to reflect upon my life, ambitions, goals and dreams. I realized that the times that I was most happy with my work, were when I was working with children. This is why I have returned to working as a nanny/ household manager. I love how each day is different through a child's eyes. I love to plan activities such as reading, nature walks, scavenger hunts, craft projects and outings to local libraries and parks. I see myself as an extension of the family and part of the parenting team. I take my job seriously and perform professionally. I am dependable, knowledgeable, creative, fun, nurturing, committed and always learning.

I have one year one year of experience working with a newborn/ infant. The most challenging thing about this position was the changing of diapers, she did not like her diaper changed by anybody and would get very upset when this was done, we were able to work through this though and it got better over time.The most rewarding thing was being able to spend time with the child on a one on one basis and be involved with her learning and development on a daily basis.
