San Diego, CA Nanny Search

I recently graduated from San Diego State with a degree in Literature. My long term goal is be a writer and teach creative writing. I'm interested in art, music, and the outdoors. I've worked on call for hotels as a nanny for traveling families, done some babysitting, and worked as an assistant preschool teacher for two years. I've spent time in Africa volunteering with refugee children and worked at camps for abused and neglected children. Though the bulk of my experience is with preschool age children, I have done some babysitting for infants and am comfortable caring for them. I really enjoy getting to know children and spending time with them. I like to encourage children in creativity and play.

I am very acquainted with children, having three much younger siblings... As of now, I have two sisters ages 8 and 10 and a brother who is 13 years old. So I am very knowledgable in the aspect of taking care of young ones. I am very handy around the house laundry, cooking, cleaning. Anything that needs to be done while you''re away I will be happy to do for you! It is important for children to have fun and stay active and motivated during the day so I make it a point to make their days as fun and packed with learning and adventure as I possibly can.
