Children are amazing and deserve to be respected, taught, disciplined, and loved. I have enjoyed babysitting since I was 12 and have had multiple jobs and volunteer work with children. From 1999 to 2009, I have worked for 11 families that have wanted me to continue babysitting for them. I am employed by a Learning Center and a Children’s Museum. I have worked at a Ranch and Stables’ horse camp, privately tutored 6th grade pre-algebra, and privately tutored trumpet lessons. I have volunteered about 290 hours for children-related work. This has included teaching English in India, tutoring in homework centers, church camp counseling, and after-school activities. I am pursuing a career at San Jose State University for teaching Kindergarten-8th grade. I really enjoy children—their energy, personalities, and potential! I want to be known as a teacher and mother that loved, encouraged and prepared kids to be awesome people.

I have over 13 yrs experience working w/ children. 9 yrs were in an educational setting & 4 of those years were as a Nanny, w/ both Regular & Special Needs children. Recently, I worked for a family in Castle Rock, CO. I cared for a 4 year old girl & a 2 year old boy. However, they relocated to Chicago for work & we have relocated to San Jose, CA for my husband's job. Currently, I am a Nanny for a family in Sunnyvale, CA. They have a 4 yr old boy that is in school full-time and a 2 year old. I am CPR/First Aid certified. I have had Child Psychology, Psychology, & Teaching coursework in college. I am very outgoing, tidy & organized. I do not have any children of my own & prefer working & helping others with their children. I am honest and dependable. Making a difference in a child's life and being able to help the parents are very important to me.
