San Jose, CA Nanny Search

Up-beat w/a love for learning. I love to spend time w/my family,paint,read,dance and just have good fun. I also have worked with special needs children for the last 4 years. I have worked with all ages from 6/wks to high school age. I love working with kids it has been the most rewarding job, I feel I have learned just as much about life as the kids I have worked with. I have been a pre-school teacher a part-time nanny, an after school science lab instructor, Teachers assistant for the resource department, special needs camp counselor, and an in home care provider for people with disabilities and special needs though Easter Seals Utah a non-profit organization. oh and a full-time nanny. So as you can tell i have had my share of working with kid's. I'm an open book.

I am a pretty down to earth type of woman, w/ an easy sense of humor and a love for children, food, and health. I'm the product of a Navy man and a country sweet "pilipina" woman. I grew up in the bay area, CA so I have the outdoors/urban in me. I have an older sister and two loving nephews (5 & 3). I enjoy hanging out with my family who are scattered across the nation. But when I'm not with them, I indulge in scrapbooking, listening to music, or trying out a new cusine. I have found that children are always drawn to me. Growing up, children on my block designated me as the big sister or mommy. I became the babysitter among church members. Naturally, I took an interest in pursuing a career involving children. I went to community college (A.A. 3/10), only to find my interest in health care and children. I am CPR certifed in adult and children. I find that working with children gives me a sanity and the freedom of free spirit.
